Although they've been married over four months, Chris Evert and Greg Norman are still in their honeymoon phase.
"The marriage is better than I expected," Norman told PEOPLE during his wife's 19th annual Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic in Delray Beach this weekend. "We have a mutual respect for each other, and I love taking her a cup of coffee each morning."
Evert and Norman, who are playing tennis as a team Sunday for the first time, were married over the summer in a sunset ceremony in the Bahamas.
The pair, who were both previously married, say they've found a good balance in their relationship. "We do things separately and also together," said Evert, 53. "And we love to bring our kids together to do family things. At this stage of our lives, Greg and I are very comfortable with each other."
In addition to playing tennis, golf, working out together and attending each other's charity events, the couple are developing residential properties around the world, including ones in the Dominican Republic and Dubai.
"We are compatible and like many of the same things,” says Norman, 53. "It is easy to be happy."
